Follow LA Long Term Care Workers On Their Journey to Arizona as They Speak Out Against Laws Like SB 1070 and Fight For Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Los Angeles – Today, 100 members of the United Long Term Care Workers’ Union (SEIU-ULTCW) are heading to Arizona with hundreds of other local union activists to participate in rallies opposing laws like SB 1070 and calling for comprehensive immigration reform at the federal level.

Being that SEIU-ULTCW represents more than 179,000 California homecare and nursing home workers and is one of the most ethnically diverse unions in the state, achieving true immigration reform and defeating laws like SB 1070 are priorities for its members.
